ENGLISH
Our Philosophy
Welcome to Hayakawa Mental Health Clinic, Issha. We are dedicated to enhancing your quality of life. Dr. Norika Hayakawa, M.D., Ph.D., is an English-speaking psychiatrist specializing in ADHD, child, and adult psychiatry.
We address various mental health issues with a balanced approach to medication and emphasize improving metabolism to enhance medication effectiveness.
Health and Mental Well-being
At our clinic, we prioritize enhancing your response to medication by focusing on your metabolic health. This can be achieved by making several lifestyle changes. Start by improving your diet to include more whole foods, with an emphasis on incorporating more protein, green fiber, and healthy fats. Additionally, exercise regularly for at least 30 minutes four to five times a week. It's also crucial to ensure you get 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night. Finally, we encourage our clients to understand how to manage and reduce the metabolic impact of stress.
Who We Serve
At the Hayakawa Mental Health Clinic Issha, we treat a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, sleep issues, ADHD, workplace stress, and situational anxiety.
We strive to assist patients with a wide range of mental health concerns. Please understand that, as a clinic, our resources are limited, so we assess your situation to ensure we can support you effectively and safely within our capabilities.
International Patients
We welcome all nationalities who can speak English or Japanese. Approximately 35% of our clients are from other countries.
Coming in September: Our New Patient Resources Page
We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of our new English-language Resources Website, designed to meet the unique needs of our international clients. This page will provide up-to-date information on our evolving treatments based on the latest clinical research.
The new website will offer a variety of resources, including information for patients seeking treatment, recommendations for other clinicians for medical issues we do not treat, insights into the Japanese health system, and a monthly blog on living a healthy life as an international resident.
Stay tuned for more updates as we work to make this valuable resource available to you in September!
